Databricks co-founder Matei Zaharia has won the 2026 ACM Prize in Computing, the field's most prestigious award. The creator of Apache Spark was recognised for his contributions to big data and AI. Zaharia told TechCrunch that AGI is already here, adding that we should stop applying human standards to AI models.
