Goddamit, it's such a shame to see Yanis Varoufakis simping for putin.

#europe has not "decided" to treat putin as "the new Hitler". putin decided to be the new Hitler.
When bad people tell you who they are, you have to listen, putins rambling 2-3 hour speeches clearly spell out his ambitions. Enslave the countries of #easterneurope . His TV puppets go even further, wishing #russian tanks to keep going until stop in #Barcelona Thanks to Euro support, it's russian quad bikes and donkeys, not tanks now.

#yanisvaroufakis is a smart man, so he knows this. As does Europe, they understand the "forever war" is a war of choice for putin. If #ukraine falls, #baltics will be next.

Why do some #socialists simp for a totalitarian satrap I'll never understand.

Fuck Varoufakis.

Edit: God, the more you read of that Varoufakis drivel, the more you realise he's just a putins whore (with apologies to hard working sex workers).
I'm so glad I did not end up buying his books.

@n_dimension That sounds like it *felt* good. Yeah, fuck the "hang in there, sisters" guy! The advocating for restarting the Russian oil and gas flow to Europe part does feel like it was lifted verbatim from a Kremlin checklist, but idk if he's getting paid the way his far-right compadres doing the same work are (maybe if he has debts). What I absolutely do buy from Dmytry's thread is the cliché ego-stroking guys like him get from grinding on honeypots in Moscow nightclubs.
