@2legged This digital graphic compares the front views of a small black car on the left and a large black Ford truck on the right. Text overlays at the top indicate height specifications, reading "1 1.423 m Spec height¹" on the left and "Spec height¹ 2.065 m 2 + 64.2 cm" on the right. At the bottom, width measurements are displayed, with the car measuring "1 1.63 m Spec width²" and the truck measuring "2.032 m Spec width²". The smaller vehicle features a Renault logo on its hood, while the larger vehicle has a prominent chrome grille with the Ford logo and "FORD TRUCKS" text above it. A small label reading "+ 8.8 cm 2" is visible near the lower right tire of the truck.

@2legged The US yet again egocentrically indulgent in whatever they fancy, regardless of environmental impact. And seemingly incapable of considering the ways of others who might disagree.
@2legged @fj They should also have to pay double fees for all parking since they take up double the space
@2legged @fj Given the horrendous death tolls on roads, particularly in some parts of the EU, the last thing we want is even bigger, more fuel hungry, death machines, that can be driven by uninsured, unlicenced idiots.

@HarriettMB All that ... and those monstrosities just dont fit in European cities. Our cities were mostly designed well before the era of the motor car. Even our 20th century suburbs were designed for much smaller cars.
