After 14 weeks, and snow, and ice, and flu thing 1, and flu thing 2, and physio exercises, I’ve finally completed the 8 week 5k programme. Which means I’ve reached my goal of being able to run the 6.5k #Singelloop again next week! 🙌

@Niall For sure. I don’t want to go straight from there to the physio! I’m actually going as a running buddy for someone else, who is at least 1:30min per k slower than me, so I think it’ll be ok. And it’s a fun run, so from experience we’ll be walking a couple of bits as well because it’s so crowded. Otherwise I would be tempted to chuck in a longer training run this week, but as it is, I think i’m safer securing my base.
