Most of the innovation on the macOS happens outside of the AppStore. It's a bit like in the Jailbreak Days of the iPhone.

@chbeer Lets say something like SlapMac (@lucaslove). Its not entirely Sandbox / Private API related but mostly that Devs start to avoid the Mac AppStore because they just want to try things out.
