@feed Chances are it worked too good, like the predessesor Truecrypt which got stranded under very weird circumstances as well.

@feed I wonder if this has anything to do with how veracrypt just ignored the truecrypt license and appropriated the whole code base as their own to get started (because the TC authors were pseudonymous I guess they gambled no one had standing to sue anywhere)
