Note to anyone who buys art from an artist: DO NOT EVER RUN THE ART THROUGH AN AI-PROGRAM! It will change details and destroy the art AND feeds that art into the program to be stolen over and over again!

To do this is to allow the theft of the artist's work.

Sincerely: Artist whose map just got absolutely ruined by AI "filter" and is shared in instagram with all the million mistakes that makes my skills look absolute shit. Plus the theft thing.

I am so so sad.

She said she loves the map, and was gushing about it so I really hope she is just ignorant and didn't know or notice how the AI ruined the piece, made me look like someone who uses AI, and has fed the piece into the theft machine...

The issue is being handled, and I hope they didn't mean it. Though..it is is still so, so hurtful. ):

@hiisikoloart @nini I find myself mystified by people like this who use AI image generators or filters and share the results without noticing the glaring defects. If you can't perceive the results, why even use the thing?

@tedmielczarek @hiisikoloart Because it's "good enough", the errors aren't noticed because you simply don't know or care and that's why it's dangerous in the hands of a dilettante, they can't see the errors but they do see something that is 90% of the way to what they ask for and they can't fix the issues so whatever, good enough.
