@30yrdscreamer Was at Black Rocks again on Monday. Draws us back.
@BecLFC I'm hoping to get up that way again in summer. An itch that must be scratched 🙂
@30yrdscreamer Yeah, I was saying yesterday that Wirksworth would be a good base for that area. Can't justify an Airbnb when I only live a stones throw away. 🙂
@BecLFC we've been camping near Monyash for the last few summers. Pretty central for all that part of the peak district.
@30yrdscreamer Camping? It's not my thing. I need comfort. But Monyash sounds good.
@BecLFC I'm very happy in a tent. There's something about only being separated from the world by a thin piece of fabric that I really like.
@30yrdscreamer Ha, ha. Perhaps you should go the whole hog and eliminate the plastic sheet and bear yourself to the elements. El fresco.

@BecLFC as kids we used to sleep out in the local woods and make shelters out of sticks and bracken, sometimes just in survival bags. Ive been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to do that I think. Always loved being outside 🙂

@30yrdscreamer Yeah, in the days when you went out in the morning and came home at dusk and your carers never batted an eyelid. I camped out once. In a field in Sheffield next to my mums, then fellas parents caravan. It is etched in my memories.i didn't enjoy it but never retreated to the very small caravan. I had a very odd childhood.
