Hey fedi,
I'm looking for #floss / #opensource recommendations for software to create flyers, posters, zines and such.
So far I've used #Krita for designing things and #Scribus for creating the PDF files my print service wants. But it didn't feel like the best approach.
I also used #inkscape, e.g. for moderation cards.

Is there another software I'm missing out on? (Never got cozy with GIMP)
Am I on the right path and just need practice?
I'm also happy to hear about good guides :)

@lethe I use Krita and Scribus, just like that... Maybe you could exchange Scribus for LibreOffice, in case Scribus isn't doing it for you? :)

Could you tell me a bit more about your workflow?
So far i made a finished design in krita, and then just passed it through scribus to get a PDF with CMYK colour profile.
But I think Scribus can do way more than that, and I might wanna look into it, start creating the layout and content etc in scribus as well, and just design artworks/logos in krita or inkscape as needed 🤔

@lethe i can send you a quick video tomorrow! My process is very much not refined and very ad hoc, but I can show you and hopefully something in there helps :)
