Bell Canada just charged me $200 for something they didn't give me. And it's 51 minutes to speak to an agent.

Between them and Rogers, Canada really has the worst telecommunications industry on Earth

@jmcrookston

Yup. We’ve been with Rogers for years. Bell before that. I wish I could bill them for the hours I’ve spent on the phone trying to sort out billing or service issues.

@KimberlyN @jmcrookston As someone who used to work for Rogers: Sorry.

@me @jmcrookston

Egads, I can’t imagine how challenging it’d be to work for them. 😑

@KimberlyN @jmcrookston I'll put it this way: I left on a mental health leave. Midway through it, I realized that nothing in the job that had caused its necessity was going to change, so I just never went back.

@KimberlyN @jmcrookston

After a year of being with Rogers (over 10 years ago now), and them screwing up my bill EVERY month for 6 months, I vowed to never use rogers directly again.

I had been happy overall with teksavvy for internet, when I had them, but I hear they are worse now. I was a big fan of Start.ca before they were bought by Telus.

My current ISP, I'm only with because they were my employer at one time, and I still know people on the inside, so I can run around the whole residential support phone tree quagmire when I need to.

I know for lots of people, there are no third party ISPs that service their area, especially in rural areas.
