The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026)

Story? What story? How about we give you all this Nintendo fan service instead?

The movie was fun for a while, but felt long even at 90 minutes.

I will pay good money to watch a Luigi + Yoshi movie.

Rated 4 out of 10.

I was disappointed with the last one. There was more nostalgia than substance.

Maybe because it did so well, I was expecting more. It was okay. I wouldn't say it was fantastic.

I debated rewatching the first one before going to see this one because I totally can’t remember what happened. It was so forgettable, I went because I grew up playing Mario games (and continue to).

I am happy to report that seeing the first movie is not a prerequisite for this new movie.
