It’s amazingly transparent. We don’t process much oil in Australia anymore so all this oil we find will be exported. Sound familiar? It’s like Scott Morrison’s Gas Led Recovery. It was all about more methane exports under the guise of increasing domestic supply. The reason we don’t have more gas shortages is the reduction in consumption as we electrify everything, not because of a dramatically increased domestic supply.
