Iranian sources reporting that U.S. and/or Israeli fighter jets are continuing strikes throughout Iran as we approach Trump's 8pm deadline, when "a whole civilization will die." I'm going to post images, video & updates (including sourcing/confidence where possible) over the evening in this thread.
Dissident blogger VahidOnline (who has been collecting reports from across Iran) says there have been low-flying jets doing sorties across central Iran, hitting multiple targets — including military bases. Iran, meanwhile, has launched a new salvo of rockets against the UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar.
Iranian state media have been posting images purportedly of mass pro-regime demonstrations — including around the energy infrastructure Trump says he wants to hit. (Photos look legit but hard to confirm.)
A lot of the Iranian dissidents have welcomed the U.S. intervention, hoping it will finally topple the regime. Now they're facing the prospect of crimes against humanity from both Iran, Israel, *and* the United States. "I am sure Mr. Trump will not make himself an enemy of the Iranian people."
Pakistan put forward a proposal for a two-week ceasefire. Reuters says both the Iranian regime and the White House is considering the proposal, but no confirmation either way whether they'll accept it.
Pro-regime Iranian channels saying US military/diplomatic facilities in Baghdad have been targeted by multiple Iranian missiles.
CNN, citing Pakistani sources, says "good news" coming. An Iranian Telegram channel notes: "Only Trump could get involved in negotiations to extend a deadline which was imposed by himself." www.cnn.com/2026/04/07/w...

Sorry, CNN was citing "a regional source," not Pakistan sources.
Meanwhile, strikes are still being traded in the region. Iranian channels say they've hit an American base in Saudi Arabia, Israel hit a major petrochemical plant some hours ago, Iran says it downed an MQ-9 Reaper drone.
Iran's ambassador to the UN has reportedly, per Iranian channels, said Tehran "firmly rejects" Pakistan's ceasefire proposal.
Iranian UN ambassador Amir Iravani: "Any solution to stop the conflict must include the non-return of aggression and the establishment of a just and sustainable peace based on reliable and verifiable guarantees to prevent any violation." (per Lebanese channel Al Mayadeen)
