Record high ocean temperatures are back across the North Pacific when looking at March 2026 in the historical record for that month.

@ZLabe what, would you say, are the implications on global air temperatures, for the coming year or so, of this spike in ocean temperatures?

@jcmortreux We are already seeing marine heatwaves across the Pacific, including a high-impact one off of Southern California and Mexico.
