geez. Senators want to lock up the law (again).

@carlmalamud spent years making sure the law (and standards included in the law) were publicly accessible for free. Even getting the Supreme Court to declare it so.

@brewsterkahle @carlmalamud it should be illegal to #Paywall access to #law texts.

  • Cuz it's one thing to say "not knowing doesn't mean one isn't subject to laws" but actively making it inaccessible is at best flat-out #ClassWarfare if not blatant #fascism!
    • Because " #RuleOfLaw " means one has access to the law text!
