My mom has had her #VascularDementia diagnosis 2 weeks and is in the 'We do not talk about this, but here are family heirlooms' stage.

I'm very glad my marriage is getting better because without my husband right now, I wouldn't have anyone to talk to about this who already knows my relationship with my mom.

@kimlockhartga Thank you Kim. I'm so overwhelmed and I don't know how I feel about the whole thing. It's so complicated.

@kimlockhartga I'm so sorry. I hate that any of us ever go through this with our loved ones and ourselves. It's... confusing. For me. My mom and I don't have a great relationship.
