What remains to be seen if how violent the collapse will be. The USSR’s death was pretty anti-climactic, I suspect it will be the same for the US - history doesn’t repeat, but it does rhyme
So the reputation of the post collapse factions/states/republics/dumpster bins etc will be what follows

YOU are the problem now. If we tell them that we expect the worst from them, and we expect them to do nothing about it, and we expect them to disappoint us AGAIN, that’s exactly what they’ll do. They are politicians, they are inherently lazy, and if you give them permission to fail, they absolutely will, and go back to their insider trading.
We have to stop these sorts of posts, and make them see nothing but righteous indignant fury, and make them understand that we are angry at BOTH parties, and we are more than willing to take out our fury on both of them.
Politicians act out of fear, even more than greed. We have to make them fear us, in every way there is. They need to hear us DEMAND they will do what they are told, or else.
Put your outrage into posts that encourage the citizens, and frighten the politicians.
The revolution doesn’t start until the internet comments are just right.
