This got me thinking about my ongoing resistance to #iPadOS26, and how aside from the various issues/bugs that have yet to be fixed, there's a philosophical shift I've found it hard to make peace with. Earlier iterations of iPadOS felt like efforts to develop something new and true to the hardware (albeit with enforced limitations). 26 feels like they gave up and said "let's just make it more recognisably Mac."
