Disappointed to see Cardano Foundation push out a claim the Google Quantum AI paper simply did not make.

The paper did not rank Cardano as the “second-most quantum-ready blockchain worldwide”. It described broad categories of quantum risk profiles, not a global leaderboard. Research should be cited honestly, not repackaged into flattering fiction.

Misrepresenting research for marketing is not leadership, it is desperation and bad form!

@AbirdcalledPx yeah I swear to you since I’ve got off X I realised it’s causing me anxiety. I know that might sound overdramatic. But I can get into an argument on X before I’ve even got out of bed. And I don’t even know why 🤷‍♂️ it’s so addictive, everything about it is just all about friction. Since I’ve left I realise it’s probably one of the problems Cardano has, people are using X to push science forward but it’s not good for productive discourse. Antisocial media. 😩 Cheers for checking in ❤️

@id The image above was from the CF’s newsletter. It’s a total misinterpretation of the document and I have verified this myself.

They must be held to account and truly should correct the statement because otherwise people will just see Cardano foundation as disingenuous.

I’m actually shocked that they twisted the paper to suggest is said that.

Even Algorand was not mentioned as number one. It’s a total distortion of the paper said. 😩 I don’t know who writes that newsletter 😩
