However Japan has become poorer. The yen has lost 50% value compared to the Euro. People can afford less, inflation was so high after Covid, they named it a rice crisis because people couldn't afford it.
And the future outlook is bleak as they do not want immigration, but society is growing old, while japans politics is highly corrupted.
