Auld Ma TwəggQueensland's LNP Government is about to legalise the high-power electric motorbikes that killed 8-year-old Zeke Hondow, make a bunch of low-power peddle-assist bikes that cannot exceed the speeds of ordinary cyclists illegal, and kick the remaining low-power bikes off cycleways designed to accomodate the speeds at which they operate and into traffic. Thirteen cyclists were killed by cars last year, pushing the road toll to a 15-year-high. They're calling this safety.
