@techfordemocracy A reminder that the .social TLD is American controlled. No instance using it can be considered fully Canadian. Please, everyone in Canada talking about digital sovereignty, use the .ca TLD. It is the ONLY TLD under Canadian control.

@techfordemocracy @controlc So it begs the question in my mind, how critical is country of origin in registration of a TLD? Can a site be shut down, redirected or otherwise abused? If any of these warrant a β€˜yes’ answer then it may open up yet another can o’ hassles.
