@TheVoiceGuy Hey. Sorry if this isn't quite threaded right, but this was an easy way to get hold off you. I can't remember if there's a way to do voice activated recordings in Reaper. If there's a script. I've thought of a good use case. If you were making a Reaper project - a song or audio drama, and you wanted to record another making of project to show out-takes and workflow, voice activated would get rid of tedious silence.

@JustinMac84 It’s a good idea.
There would be a couple of things to overcome.
What you don't want with voice activated record recordings is that, when it activates, it might cut off the first word.
It certainly got me interested.

@TheVoiceGuy Pre-roll would easily fix that. You would just need a long hold time. I don't think using Reagate would cut it. There would need to be unique parameters.
