@Lana We're not perfect, but yes, we have a lot of good things going for us.

Housing prices are high, both rent and for purchase.

Gas prices are about $1.60 higher than the national average.

I'd still rather live here than elsewhere.

@rayk I mean... Depends on where you look. If you're committed to living *in* Seattle proper, yeah rent sucks big time. But hubby and I rent a 2-BR right on the shores of Lake Washington for 2k.
