November 2022, the newsposters arrived in their thousands, they all got on one server, I blocked it because news websites exist and that was that but I kinda figured it was still a server
always figured that getting news from social media was like getting sandwiches from the pub next to the sandwich shop but it's not really, it's more like someone in the pub randomly throwing a sandwich at you every few minutes whether you want it or not and these sandwiches aren't even from the pub OR the sandwich shop right next door, they're just random dudes chucking damp sandwiches at you going hey mate, try this, it's fucking awful

pretty rare for that nowadays though. they just get drowned out anyway
@wohali stuff like natural disasters that happens real-time sure, but for every actual person documenting stuff and giving info there's a dozen random 14-year-olds just saying whatever
