Dumb way to access faulty IPMI interface?
when watching network calls, the /api/somebs/fw-info apicall returns a HTTP/500 and then invalidates the user session.
Telling browser to BLOCK this URL results in the user session staying active.
so dumb
Nmap scan report for [shitty ASR server]
Host is up (0.00098s latency).
PORT STATE SERVICE
80/tcp closed http
443/tcp closed https
nope, plashing the IPMI doesn't help this piece of shit from being less shitty.
Okay, Now I'm unreasonably pissed off.
Fuck you ASRock
Why in the fuck does the downloads for a barebones server DIFFER from the downloads for the Motherboard contained in said chassis?!!?!?
JUST
WHY!?!?!?!
$chassis contains $MB
$chassis - firmware - BMC == 1.50.00, BIOS == 3.20
$motherboard page - BMC == 2.02.00, BIOS == 3.40
the fuck does that make any sense?!
Still as shit as it was. BMC still needs multiple manual reboots until luck nets you an open HTTP port.
