My PineTime's touchscreen just died after ~5 years. Super sad, as I was just about to finish a couple more PRs for the entire ecosystem (firmware, render-path, sim, emu) 🥺

Now I'm really not sure if I should just order another one or if I'll wait for the PineTime Pro - which is still several months away.

@fribbledom The step counter on mine died a few month ago. And I have a minor display damage. And my wristband is cut. Nothing of this would stop me from using the PineTime, but the combination did.
So, if you could use it until PineTimePro, I would recharge it to show you the exact problems, and if its ok send it to you.

@PraetorCreech @fribbledom My PineTime's accelerometer died randomly without external cause 1.5 years after buying it. I mean, I didn't expect a high-quality product for 27$, but it's still sad. To me, it's not worth buying the same product again.

@fribbledom Do you need GPS? Maybe get another pinetime and use it for another 5 years and see if the pinetime pro goes the way of the pinephone pro?
