Anyone claiming "but Allah means God" should remember that no one calls SpongeBob an anime unless they are speaking Japanese or are a weeaboo. Anime only means cartoon in Japanese, but it doesn't mean the same thing in other languages. It was imported into them with a new meaning: Japanese cartoons (or Japanese-looking cartoons, although that's debatable).

In simple terms: that's not how languages work.
