I did some research which channels are used by the various local Global Sumud Flotilla groups. Unfortunately most are still relying on big-tech and/or proprietary social media. Some of them use UpScrolled. Although sympathetic and Palestinian owned, it is proprietary (not open source), has no API, no web-app and does not federate (using e.g. ActivityPub). I think that's a problem and I would not recommend using these kind of closed services, despite being the good intentions.

From some (incl. the international group) I found an option to contact them by email. I've send them an email asking to join Mastodon, incl. a short list of recommended servers.
