For the past 10 years, Jack Pelzar has been part of our @[email protected] family.

After being diagnosed with epilepsy at a young age, Jack had to undergo multiple brain surgeries and hospital stays as part of his treatment. During these times, GDF Hospital Visits offered Jack a shining light and a connection to his favorite team - the New York Rangers.

A lifelong fan, Jack has had to opportunity to attend games and receive autographs from his favorite players to help carry him through his journey.

Now, as he looks towards the future, Jack has his sights set on pursuing a future in medicine or biomedical research to help others facing challenges like his own.

To help him reach his goals, Jack was selected to receive one of our GDF scholarships - which he found out through a surprise check presentation by #NYR Captain J.T. Miller 💙❤️
