If you are not watching Artemis II approaching the Moon right now WHY NOT THIS IS INCREDIBLE

youtube, NASA channel, and they have the official live feed. Right now the view is from a camera mounted on one of the solar panels.

YOU CAN SEE THE MOON GETTiNG BIGGER. YOU CAN SEE SO MUCH DETAIL ALREADY. THIS IS

INCREDIBLE

EDIT: The live event for the flyby just started! So right now less of the camera feeds, but you can see the astronauts Doing Stuff in the capsule.

It's now the "Live Event Starts Soon" splash because at 1pm ET they start official "THIS IS HAPPENING" coverage of our flyby!

@catbailey I don't know, Cat. I just flicked it on and egg-shape moon is neat and all but I also don't think I care? Maybe my joy died a long time ago.

But it's the same rock I see most nights and it isn't different and we've been there decades ago. I can't make this special enough in my head to justify the cost.

It's just meh?

I am glad so many other people are stoked out of their minds about it though, and I am frankly jealous of them.

@catbailey Medusa hair. Only 0-gee can do that. Love it.
@catbailey we've watched 4 hours of the official stream this evening and it's been amazing but alas we need to get some sleep at some point tonight so have thrown in the towel. Will likely catch-up again in the morning
