As a professional driver, I can confidently say that the recent state of vehicle headlight intensity has made my job much more difficult AND dangerous. And that's not just regarding nighttime driving. There have been numerous moments during daylight hours, or under suboptimal conditions, that oncoming headlights have blazed my vision away.

If you can relate, Transport Canada has begun a survey collecting information about it. First steps.

@shawnsquire Avoid looking at headlights? When you are driving and have to look at the road and they are full blast into your eyes even if averted as much as possible what are the options? Or up behind you straight into your rearview mirror.

@Alison

Allison, I definitely avoid a dead on gaze with oncoming lol. Look at the right hand shoulder line. As for behind, I flip my rearview and aim my side mirror down toward the ground.

I'm still working out the bugs for a rocket launcher deterrent system.

@shawnsquire I’ve been driving since ‘76 and do those things. Keep working on that launcher!
