I never want to call the cops but I just heard a child yelling for help, have no idea what happened, have no evidence if it was a state backed kidnapping or evidence at all unless local cameras caught it, and the only thing I know of to do in this situation is call the cops but I don't know if that could even actually help and it sure could hurt #urgent #pdx #portlandOR
I went outside immediately, slowed by putting on my shoes and grabbing a whistle. I didn't see evidence of what happened, and neither did customers of the cafe across the street, who apparently had gotten there in the last few minutes. One asked if it came from outside or inside the apartment building, or if it could have been a bird with a childlike coo. I have no idea where or who the yelling was coming from, but I know someone yelled "help please" and I do not know what to do
