Microsoft, I updated the Intel chipset drivers. How in god's green fuck did you forget about the built-in sound card? Why did I have to rescan sound hardware for Windows 11 to actually remember "oh there's a sound card". What the shit have you done. What in the absolute turd-licking dipshittery is going on here.

I can't wait til they throw Copilot in the same digital grave with Clippy and Cortana.

@drsbaitso @bosh the sad fucking thing is that Cortana? Cortana mostly WORKED. Because the people who worked on it built it as a natural language assistant and *nothing more*. Set a timer, put this on my calendar, open this program.

@drsbaitso @bosh it truly was, though Windows Phone would unquestionably be an unusable shitshow these days and even worse than Android. But at the time, it was fucking glorious. I used Windows Phone because suddenly, here was a phone that just did what I wanted. With no fuss, no fighting, and a UI/UX that wasn't pure fucking torture.
