Looks like almost no billionaire actually left California because of the proposed wealth tax.

And while some people see Gavin Newsom as a potential opponent to Trump, it is worth remembering that he also seems to be deeply backed by billionaires and opposes the wealth tax himself.

@obrhoff this obły highlights the problem of the broken usanian system where you 1) have FPTP resulting in parliamentary duopoly and 2) allow backing all candidates by limitless private entities. Which basically turns it into "who has more moneyZ" race... 🤦‍♂️
