At this point, they're merely sophisticated wealth transfer bots. When are they labeled social engineering that went off the rails?

@gerrymcgovern I just find myself tuning out of emails and presentations that are obviously AI slop (sometimes the person would proudly admit using AI for it too!). It's amazing how some people get conned into wasting other people's time, all the while thinking they're saving their own time...

The ones' that are proud of using it have at least one redeeming quality: you know you can absolutely write them off as useless and ignore literally anything they ever say or do; no need to attempt to discern if the work was "AI" or just poorly done by a human, because you can already reasonably surmise that it's slop.

It's the rest of them where you have to take that extra 5 seconds to check your own sanity and then write them off for not owning up to their plagiarism that really irks me.
