We started with binary, invented programming languages so we wouldn't have to think in binary. Then we built AIs so we wouldn't have to write those languages either. Now we describe code to an AI in English so it can eventually be turned back into... binary.

we started with fuzzy analog signals and, at a great effort, forced them to behave as digital, unambiguous ones and zeroes, and built logic gates that let us do deterministic computations. Then we built AIs that use those gates to multiply matrices of fuzzy floatng-point numbers, in order to give us a fuzzy answer that is sometimes correct
