@mrd You will still be able to install any app but you need to toggle a switch in settings and then wait 24 hours. This is only needed to do once.
While inconvenient it's not as bad as this while thing first looked.

The one-time 24-hour waiting period for Android sideloading causes a lot of frustration. Google wants to make it a bit easier when changing devices.
