So, out here in STL my car is easy to spot for a rather disappointing reason, and that's because I run Bee Friendly plates, the ones that support the Missouri Bee Keepers Association ( @That_One_Guy you should get a set), and apparently they've only managed to move 150 of them.

MO makes it difficult to get specialty plates, while at the same time having a mind-boggling amount of choices, 143 I think it is. Basically you have to donate to the organization, get an emblem usage form from them, and fill out an application, which application depends on the plate. I definitely like how most states do where you just get the plate at the DMV and they cut a check to the organization.

Any how, if'n you're in Missouri and want some specialty plates… https://dor.mo.gov/motor-vehicle/plates/documents/SpecialtyPlateChart.pdf

The STL Beekeepers were helping people get these and a driving force behind it happening I think. I'm considering getting some but have this weird thing with avoiding personal plates.

@That_One_Guy

Yeah, they make it easy, the DMV not so much. Does seem a shame how few are out there.

Interesting, worried about personal info, or easily being spotted ? I can't help the latter, so i don't worry about it and i never do vehicle specific or personal stuff, my current plate is a silly job reference that few will get

Kind of a throwback to my misspent youth. My tags are coming up soon though, so I might look into it again.
