mostly this makes it really annoying to obtain newly remastered music now, because it's released only in two formats: stupid massive overkill sample rate (and I have to then downsample just to avoid burning hundreds of megabytes on storing ultrasonics) OR fucking. vinyl. please just remaster and give me 16/44.1 thanks.
