Good to see some push-back on the completely unhinged plan to deploy 'sunlight on demand' reflective satellites (which would allow for companies to flood 5-6 square km of land at night with sunlight), and also Musk's plan to launch 1M AI workload satellites.
Four international scientific societies spanning 2500 members warn these projects could further disrupt human & animal sleep patterns, & cause havoc to oceanic & terrestrial ecosystems.

The irony of Musk wanting to spew GPUs into orbit is that it lays a future minefield that could undermine all his supposed plans of off-world migration. A killing cage of dead satellite debris impossible to monitor.

@ghouston Possibly, or years after whole crop pollination cycles have been noted to be disrupted. There would surely be billionaire vanity weddings and concerts in urban areas that would enrage locals. No doubt Bezos would have 'lit up Venice' if he could have.
Better to prevent and stop it before launch, even if it seems a losing battle in this often lawless and ethically undone era.
