Sign up here to join us in registering eligible HCC students to vote! 9:00 am: Arrive on campus 9:00 - 9:15 am: Set up table/giveaways 9:15 - 9:30 am: Volunteer review on Reach and final prep for event 9:30 am - 11:30 am: Register eligible HCC students 11:30 - 12:00 pm: Volunteer debrief and breakdown of setup To register voters at this event, you MUST be a certified Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar (VDVR) in at least HARRIS COUNTY (bonus points if you are also certified in the surrounding counties). Make sure your certification is current. How to prepare: STEP 1: If this is your first time registering voters with Powered by People, please sign up with the following link for the quick ZOOM training that is required: http://bit.ly/4mn39bl STEP 2: Before your shift, download the Reach app and review the associated REACH User Guide at bit.ly/3JmCpca We will be using this app in tandem with registering voters!! This step is CRUCIAL in helping us reach voters! You will need to complete Step 1 & 2 before our event! Once in Reach, follow the directions below to join our campaign. On the Home Screen, click the name of the group you’re currently in. At the bottom of the pop-up window, select 'Browse Campaign Directory'. Search for 'Powered by People'. Click the blue 'Join' button!
