Why is France’s bill against ‘new forms of anti-Semitism’ sparking controversy?

The French government is backing a draft law based on the idea that "hatred" of Israel is inseparable from hatred of the Jewish people. Critics of the “Yadan law” warn the new legislation will not just muzzle legitimate criticism of Israel but could further fuel anti-Semitism in France.

@timagal Clearly we should not speak ill of the SS and the German Nazi government, as that would equal hatred of the Gristian German population when thinking back to the 1940's.....
With the news from the last year I clearly see parallels with what happened to Roma, Jewish people, gay and lesbian people back then...

@AngelaScholder I think the Nazis were but amateurs. These americano-zionists are the real pros. If we start adding up the Native American genocide, Kissinger's destruction in Latin America and Cambodia, Gaza and so on, we'll all be scandalized with the fact that these criminals never had a Nuremberg...
