For most of my life, I didn't have long hair. I don't think my experience is unique in that my motivation to wash my hair varies as an inverse polynomial in relation to its length.
All that to say, I don't want to shower today!! 😭 #hair #curls

@ellyxir I've had long hair (once nearly to my waist, mostly mid shoulder blades) since early '90s. I usually wash it every 2-3 days. Either it's up in a ponytail or sometimes a hair bag if I'm not washing it in the shower. Comb out with water on non-wash days. If I'm real skanky, it'll go 4 days & then it's kinda nasty & brittle. Laziness is OK!

@mdhughes skank it up! you know "skank" sounds like it'd be a great name for a programming language. not sure what it'd be about though. SKi combinator, Ank... well i'll figure something out.
