#Trump escalated threats against #Iran power plants, bridges & other infrastructure in an expletive-laden post on Truth Social on #Easter morning.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” Trump posted. “There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell — JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”

The profane threat, landed a few hours after #PopeLeo XIV issued a call for nations to choose #peace.

#unfit

@Nonilex he sounds desperate.
@jamesmarshall @Nonilex If you think he's desperate now, wait until the Houthi's close the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which is what's coming next if Trump goes full stupid with bombs like he's threatening.

@Doppelganger75 @jamesmarshall @Nonilex I'm not sure that traffic near Yemen really bounced back after the last US idiocy there. After we shot down two of our own planes, we declared victory and went home, and the Houthi sunk a couple more ships. But it can certainly be choked off even further.

Mr. Trump really doesn't like being told 'no'. But this sounds more like other countries are calling up Trump and telling him that US trade will be stopped unless he unfucks their oil supply.

What a shame. And in an election year.

@Nonilex

What, no "thankyou for your attention to this matter"?

@pewnack @Nonilex that’s gotta be a signal to capital.
@Nonilex guess Tuesday he will delay again after some stock exchange magic
@Nonilex another impeachable offense ignored while Congress diddles away their power to remove a maniac President
@Nonilex Yep. Classy guy. Makes all of us look like idiots.

@Nonilex He still believes the "spontaneous uprising" thing?
By chance, I was rewatching Curtis's documentary "HyperNormalisation" and in it I noticed where he said...
Instead of a violence born out of
political struggles for power,
it became replaced by a much
simpler image of an evil tyrant
at the head of a rogue state
who became more like an archcriminal
who wanted to terrorise the world.
All the politics and power dropped away.
The problem was just them and
their evil personalities.
And after 9/11, this led to a
new, and equally simple, idea.
That if only you could remove
these tyrannical figures,
then the grateful people of their country
would transform naturally into a democracy,
because they would be free of the evil.

Trump is still apparently waiting for the grateful people of Iran to rise up against the (still) tyrannical regime. I'm sure that destroying their civilian infrastructure is exactly what's needed to reassure them that the benevolent US regime has their backs... /s
