Fesshole 🧻I work in the creative industry and I can tell you with confidence that a huge number of design agencies take your money and simply outsource all of it to low paid freelancers overseas. You're basically paying them to forward emails.
Toast, Anonymous Fedi Fungus@fesshole That’s what agencies do. They have the contacts and a relationship with the people they refer the work to and you don’t. Go ahead and spend an entire work day trying to find the actual person with the right skills, or send it out and have it done quickly.
Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UK@ShiitakeToast @fesshole this fess has strong "they took are jobs!" type energy, and if its a fess from within the industry suggests that whoever wrote it is still contributing to the situation whilst holding the overseas workers in contempt (and the reason folk in the rest of the Commonwealth tend to get the work isn't just lower wage costs but they deliver what is required on time/budget and would have had to prove that to the agency to end up on their books..)
