This is a fun article on the shrinking size of MLB players. Some of the player reactions are terrific.

MLB hitters have suddenly shrunk

He was not 6 feet, he had never been 6 feet, and it was clear at this point in Miguel Rojas' life that he was never going to be 6 feet. But his height was close enough to 6 feet to get away with it.

@thepdog "In total, baseball players collectively lost nearly 20 feet of height ."
hahahahahahahaha
@thepdog "It's age," Los Angeles Angels catcher Travis d'Arnaud, 37, said with a smile. "Everybody gets shorter with age."
@Lizette603_23 I know I have certainly shrunk over the years. 🤷🏽‍♂️
@thepdog hahaha Well, to be honest, I think most of us do just because of gravity
@Lizette603_23 Yes, it's gravity, which is also adding to my weight. lol
@thepdog It's squashing us so we go out one or two inches...that's what you're saying? HAHAHAHA
@thepdog Oh I just looked at the stats, over 80% of us lose 1-2 inches!
@Lizette603_23 Well, I am well within the norm then.
@thepdog I'm actually not.....Oh I've shrunk in height, but gotten decidedly small width-wise with age. It makes no sense. I didn't have a lot to begin with, now....as does the rest of my family.....I suffer with NoAssAtAll. it's rough on old waiting room chairs and FORGET benches
@thepdog LOL - unexpected consequences of ABS!
@bosquebill The truth will set you free, or expose your height fudging. lol

@thepdog Casually curious on how they settled on the percentages of the players' height for the strike zone, especially the top.

a: Let's make the top of the zone 56%, just above the belt.

b: No, no, that's too high. I say 50%, half his height.

(after many hours of arguing)

c: OK, we will set it at 53.5%. Done.
