Finally got a chance to watch #TheBoneTemple. If you had told me when leaving the theater 24 yrs ago that a) this saga would still be continuing & b) that it would involve Ralph Fiennes portraying ***** while lip-syncing to **** ******, I'd have thought you were insane. What a ride. Loved it. A-

Being deliberately vague to not spoil but: great direction by DaCosta & amazing performances, esp by Fiennes. Horrifying, monstrous, wholly human. I can't wait to see where the next one goes. #horror

@stina_marie Only saw the first one. How many do we have to catch up on?

@WhatACharmingHouse They're as follows:
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later
28 Years Later
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple

So if you mean the first one ever, you have 3 to watch

@stina_marie It'll take us 28 years to catch up at this rate.
@stina_marie @WhatACharmingHouse A couple weeks ago, I realized that I hadn't seen any of this franchise because I was confusing it with a different franchise, so my spouse and I sat down over the course of a week and watch the movies and I will absolutely vouch that they are worth it! I can't wait to watch Bone Temple.
@mmezabet @WhatACharmingHouse What movies were you confusing it with? I'm glad you got to catch up with them- they're all mostly great watches. I hope you enjoy The Bone Temple- it's probably my favorite one after the first one!
@stina_marie @mmezabet Next they should do โ€œ28 1/2 Days Laterโ€ and itโ€™s just a poetic black-and-white movie about a director making a movie about his life as a zombie film.
@stina_marie @WhatACharmingHouse Weirdly, whenever my spouse described it, the only thing I could think of turned out to be Dawn of the Dead (2004). It makes zero sense, I know! I think I have just reached an age where all of the zombie movies I've watched have been turned into one big slurry in my memory ๐Ÿ˜‚
@mmezabet @WhatACharmingHouse ๐Ÿ˜† Well, there's definitely enough of them to be confusing!
