The more the web gets harder to use, like requiring javascript, or making you prove you're not a bot etc, the less I care for what it was I wanted to look at, and I'm now feeling that as a release.
I'm slowly going back to the 'real' world 😊

Thats nice.

If you want something soothing in the internet, you could try out Gemini protocol (alternative web, mostly Text, feeling early Internet).
You will need another Browser for it.
Like Buran or Lagrange.
That's calming.

@SteveTux Yeah, I've played with Gemini and Gopher.
After years of working and playing with computers, I think I am a little burnt out with it all.

Then nature is the better way. :)
I enjoy my garden with bees and birds and so on.
For me Gopher and Gemini is a newly found alternative (not that long into Linux & FLOSS).
But I work daily with Microslop in the company, so sometimes its really better to get the air through me remaining hair, than to browse the web. :)

Most of the "modern" web is now just the old #YellowPages masquerading as a #news and #entertainment source.

At least the Yellow Pages were not behind #paywalls and did not require #IDVerification.
