Hibiscus don’t flower here until August. I bought one as a present as it will be in flower for my Dad’s Birthday.

What a thoughtful gift! This one is weird. I always think it'll flower outside in the summer, but it tends to flower in the middle of winter indoors instead.

@dillyd Some of the flowers that would traditionally be in flower in August often struggle with the extra heat we now have.

Finding replacements Dad likes isn’t easy but he likes this hibiscus.
